Family-friendly, fun and varied. The ski resort of La Plagne, located in the French Alps, in the Tarentaise valley, is ideal to enjoy with friends or family as it offers an abundance of snow with excellent options for skiing and snowboarding, as well as the telemark skiing, snowbiking or bobsleigh. Together with its neighbouring resort Les Arcs, they form the extensive domain of Paradiski, with 425 kilometers of ski slopes and 250 tracks for all levels that run from Aiguille Rouge (Les Arcs) to Côte-de-Dôme Belle (La Plagne). Both resorts are connected by the Vanoise Express, one of the largest and fastest two-floor cable cars in the world, connecting from Plan-Pesey to Montchavin. The highest point of La Plagne is the Chiaupe glacier at 3,000m and the lowest is in the village of Montchavin at 1,250m. Its 132 tracks for all levels are distributed across a ski-area of 225 kilometers with a great variety of tracks and landscapes that will delight everyone, from beginners to more experienced skiers. Beginners find long and wide tracks, ideal for safe and gradual learning. Intermediate skiers can test their technique along the fabulous blue and red runs, while experts can get a great adrenaline rush along the black descents in the Chiaupe glacier area, under the Bellecote peak (3,417m). You will never be bored in La Plagne! The resort has a large freeride area, cross-country skiing routes as well as a bobsleigh track built for the 1992 Albertville Olympics. There is also a great snow-park and halfpipe for freeriders. La Plagne promises a unique experience in one of the most extensive domains in Europe!
