Five resorts grouped in a large ski area at the foot of Mont Blanc. The ski resort of Le Grand Massif, located in the French Alps, is one of the great domains with 265 kilometers of slopes for all levels and good options for Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, freestyle and freeride. Thanks to its great location with 80% of its slopes oriented to the north, it enjoys snow in abundance. Its 148 slopes run between majestic landscapes and are surrounded by pine trees, where there is something for all skiers. The great domain is made up of the following resorts: Flaine, Les Carroz d'Araches, Samoëns, Morillon and Sixt Fer-à-Cheval, each one unique. Flaine is the central point of the domain, Les Carroz has easy and intermediate level runs and Samoëns offers slopes for all levels overlooking the Giffre Valley and the Col de Joux Plane. Morillon is ideal for children, families and beginners and Sixt Fer-à-Cheval is a natural paradise. At the foot of the slopes, there are villages in each sector with a wide range of services. The town of Flaine, in the heart of the domain, is synonymous with comfort, modernity and functionality, and links with all other resorts. Les Carroz d'Araches, Samoëns and Morillon are authentic mountain villages with traditional wooden houses and historic buildings.
